How we work, one phase at a time
Our AI development process runs in four phases. Each has a fixed scope and price, ends with something you can see working, and closes with a decision you make: continue, adjust or stop.

What happens in each phase
Select a phase to see the work week by week, who we need from your side, what you receive and the decision at the end.
Fixed scope and price, one phase at a time
You never sign up for twelve weeks blind. Each phase is priced on its own, once the previous one has shown what the next will take.

Fixed, not time and materials
Each phase has a written scope and a fixed price. If we underestimate the effort, that’s our cost, not yours.
Priced when we know enough
You see an estimate for the whole path from day one. Each phase gets its firm price at the gate before it, based on evidence from the work so far.
Changes are written down first
If you want to change scope mid-phase, we write a short change note with the effect on cost and timeline. Nothing changes until you approve it.
Running costs, in your accounts
Cloud and model usage are billed to your own accounts, so you see them directly. We estimate them per transaction during the prototype.
A weekly rhythm you can plan around
You see working software every week, and you always know what we’re doing, what’s next and what we need from you.

What we need from you
Projects stall on access and attention far more often than on technology. Here is what to line up before week one.
- 01
An executive sponsor
Owns the business case and makes the call at each gate.
Typical time: 30 minutes a week, plus gate meetings
- 02
A product owner
Knows the process, answers questions quickly and sets priorities.
Typical time: 2 to 4 hours a week
- 03
Subject-matter experts
The people who do the work today. They explain the edge cases and check the evaluation answers.
Typical time: A few hours in Discover and Prototype
- 04
IT and security contacts
Set up cloud access, identity and connections to your systems, and run your security review.
Typical time: Mostly weeks 1, 3 and 6 to 9
- 05
Access to data
A representative sample in week one, then read access to a copy of production data for the prototype.
Typical time: Agreed during Discover
- 06
Pilot users
A small group who try it during the build and tell us what gets in their way.
Typical time: Short sessions in weeks 10 and 11
You own everything we build
From the first commit, the code, infrastructure and documentation live in your accounts. If we part ways, nothing is held back.
Yours from day one
- Source code in your Git repository
- Infrastructure as code, in your standard
- Evaluation suite and test cases
- Architecture, security and privacy documents
- Runbooks for incidents and model updates
- Admin and user training material
We run it
We monitor, fix and improve the system under a monthly agreement: support with agreed response times, evaluations on every model update, a monthly results report and a quarterly roadmap.
Your team runs it
We hand over in stages: pairing sessions with your engineers, a walkthrough of every runbook, and a period where we stay on call as backup until your team is confident.
Questions about the process
Start with a two-week discovery
Tell us about the process you want to fix. In a 30-minute call, we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a good first project and what discovery would cover.
30 minutes with a senior engineer. No sales pitch, no obligation.
